Dr. Sara Elashaal

DMD

Dr. Sara Elashaal is excited to bring her years of dental expertise and infectious enthusiasm back home to NoVA. Her journey began at George Mason University, where she earned Honors in Biology before attending Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude among the top of her class. Dr. Elashaal believes in lifelong learning and dedicates hundreds of hours to continuing education courses each year, staying at the forefront of dental practices from premier institutions. Whether it's root canals, implants, or achieving sparkling smiles, she covers it all!

Dr. Elashaal prioritizes building relationships and empowering her patients to take charge of their dental health. She tailors personalized care plans and ensures patients are involved every step of the way. Dr. Elashaal strongly advocates for preventative care and conservative treatment options whenever feasible, promising the utmost bedside manner and quality care in a relaxing environment.

Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Elashaal enjoys spending time with her family, lounging by the pool, and caring for their backyard chickens. She also actively volunteers for non-profit organizations and enthusiastically supports her Boy Scout troop.

Dr. Annette E. Scott

Remembering..

Dr. Scott is passionate about taking care of her patients and supporting their oral health. She is committed to providing her patients with gentle, state-of-the-art care in a friendly, safe, stress-free and comfortable environment. By educating you about your dental health, Dr. Scott works with you to create personalized treatment plans that fit your needs.  

Originally from California, Dr. Scott obtained her Bachelors in Microbiology from Howard University.   She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard’s College of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation, Dr. Scott worked at Kaiser Permanente before establishing her own practice in Alexandria, Virginia in 1989. During her long career in the dental field, she has mentored many recent dental graduates and has been the past president of Newman C. Taylor Dental Society.  

Dr. Scott has pursued extensive training in implant dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Implant Association where she completed her Fellowship in 2007.  She is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Northern Virginia American Dental Association.  After completing the full training series at Implant Seminars with Dr. Arun Garg, she now serves as a Clinical Instructor and Mentor for new doctors in Dr. Garg’s Implant & Socket Preservation Course.

Dr. Scott is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation, Invisalign, Advanced i-CAT techniques, and Radiographic Interpretation. She uses the latest in 3D digital technology to provide the highest quality care and continues to pursue continuing education to further hone her craft.

In her free time, Dr. Scott enjoys sewing new outfits, cycling, spending time with her son Abraham and her dog, Gigi. You can often find her riding her bike up and down the East Coast.  

Jaquay

Jaquay joined the practice in 2006. She works in conjunction with Dr. Scott and the assistants to schedule patient appointments and provide estimates for dental treatment plans. Jaquay also works with patients in the back as needed. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and their families.

Jaquay has completed trainings in intense implant surgery as well as in phlebotomy. She has also traveled with Dr. Scott to the Dominican Republic, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona  for continuing education courses in Implant Services, Advanced Surgical Techniques, Cerec Same-Day Crowns, and Invisalign.

A native of Northern Virginia, Jaquay lives in Woodbridge with her family. She loves organizing family gatherings and spoiling her grandson.

Miguel

Miguel joined us in the summer of 2021 as a dental assistant, bringing 9 years of experience and lots of jokes to the practice. As a child, he wanted to be a professional soccer player, but he stumbled into dentistry after too many soccer injuries. His favorite part of his job is living vicariously through his patients’ stories and adventures. His goal is to make patients feel comfortable during their appointments, while also educating them on the importance of oral health care.

Miguel is married (his wife is also in the dental field!) and has two dogs. When he’s not spending time with his family, he enjoys being in nature, and takes every opportunity to go camping, hiking, and off-roading in his Jeep.
